Most Iconic Sopranos Locations

Satin Dolls AKA Badabing Gentlemen’s Club

No Sopranos tour would be complete without a visit to the Badabing Club. Although it is now known as Satin Dolls, the real-life location has had its fair share of drama, much like its portrayal on the show. Satin Dolls was temporarily shut down due to its association with a convicted racketeer who conspired with the Genovese crime family. But don’t worry, the club is back open for business, hopefully without any risky business. Feel free to pass by or step inside to see what a real-life mob hangout looks like.

Applegate Farm

The Applegate Farm was featured in Season 6, Episode “Chasing It,” where Phil Leotardo took Vito out for ice cream. If this scene made you crave some real-life ice cream, you’re in luck! Applegate Farm is known as one of the largest retail outlets for ice cream on the East Coast. The farm has been around since 1848 and was owned by the Sigler family until the 1800s. It was then passed on to Mr. Julian Tinkham. By 1991, the little ice cream shop was owned by Mr. and Mrs. Jason Street, and to this day, they continue the tradition of serving the best homemade ice cream and sweet treats in the 21st century.

Manhattan’s Mulberry Street Bar AKA Averna Social Club

If you loved the Averna Social Club in The Sopranos, get excited because you can step into the real deal at Manhattan’s Mulberry Street Bar. This place is not only great for a drink but also known for its pizza, sandwiches, and calzones. They even offer curbside pickup if you want to grab a bite on the go.

The New Jersey Pine Barrens

Bet you didn’t think we would sneak in some fresh air on this field trip. Well, surprise! Welcome to the Pine Barrens, which appeared in the episode named after this nature preserve. The Pine Barrens make up 22 percent of New Jersey’s total land mass and have 850 different species of plants, along with various orchards. Needless to say, the area is perfect for spending a few hours enjoying a walk or hike amidst the beautiful scenery and fresh air.

Batting Cages at Duncan Ave, Jersey City

This stop offers a little fun and games during your trip. Well, mostly games because we already know you’re having fun. We’re talking about having a ball, quite literally, with baseball. So, enough with the games; let’s head to the batting cages at Duncan Ave. Not only will you get to play a little baseball, but you’ll also be at the same spot where the D Girl episode was filmed. How about that for an exciting experience?

Lodi Pizza

Let’s talk pizza! After all these stops, you’re bound to get hungry, and luckily Lodi Pizza is known for its delicious slices. This joint specializes in Sicilian-style, old-school pizza, perfectly in line with the theme. Lodi’s Pizza has a 4.5 rating on TripAdvisor and has been featured on Barstool Pizza Review. Head on in and say cheese at the spot that made its way into The Telltale Moozadell episode of The Sopranos.

Astoria Park

You probably thought we were done with outdoor shenanigans after our first go, but nope! Astoria Park is pretty remarkable for plenty of reasons, but it’s most famous for being New York’s oldest community pool and the largest. What’s even better is that it’s free! The pool isn’t the only attraction; they also have bocce ball courts, tennis courts, running tracks, a fitness center, and even a skate park! And, of course, the most important reason for its inclusion in this list is that it was featured in the episode titled “White Caps” in The Sopranos.

We hope that after all these stops, you’ll head back to your hotel room, light up a cigar, put on a giant robe, and truly embrace the spirit of a mobster.
